The International Launch of the Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index

The International Launch of the Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index took place on Friday, 24 April 2015 at the Chateau Status, (Opposite Ledra Palace), Nicosia. This event shared the SCORE experience with international peacebuilding practitioners, policy actors, CSOs and media representatives through a series of presentations and hands-on workshops. The presentations introduced the audience to the SCORE Index, providing examples of the Index’ implementation in two countries: Cyprus and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

During this launch event, the participants also had the opportunity to explore the SCORE Online Platform. The SCORE Online platform is a dynamic, user-friendly interface for the exploration and discussion of SCORE results. The second part of the event was comprised of hands-on workshops during which participants were provided with practical guidance on how to develop the SCORE Index for their own chosen context.

The event was followed by the Build Peace Welcome Reception, jointly hosted by UNDP-ACT and SeeD. The SCORE International Launch took place as a side event of the Build Peace Conference.
