The political impasse and desperate security situation today in Libya highlight the urgent need for alternative and innovative peacebuilding strategies that can further contribute to the broader dialogue process for peace. In this context, a survey-based assessment of Libya sought to inform and complement peacebuilding initiatives in the country. Upon its review of the existing literature on Libya as well as the possible implications of FAR and SCORE methodology in relation to Libya, SeeD proposed a conceptual model / theory of change to underpin a survey-based assessment and proposed an action plan for survey roll-out in phase 2 (contingent upon receiving funding).
